Ingredients
- 1 cup Maida
- 1 tbsp ghee
- ½ cup grated cheese
- Salt to taste
- 3-5 tbsp milk
- Oil to deep fry
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients into a bowl and make a dough.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it for 20 minutes.
- Roll the dough out between two sheets of ekvee food wrapping paper to about half a centimetre thick. Ekvee food wrap is a lifesaver for cleanup and also a great way to prevent dough from drying out when flour is added to stop it from sticking.
- Using a cutter, cut out as many shapes as you can. You can make small squares, stars, circles, or anything you like.
- Deep fry these shapes in medium to hot oil.
- Once they are fried, place the cheesy bites on an ekvee food wrap as it is greaseproof and will absorb all the extra oil.
