Ingredients

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 1 cup Maida flour
  • 2 and 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • ¼ cup Water
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Ajwain carom seeds

Ingredients for Aloo Masala:

  • Boiled potato
  • Chopped garlic
  • Chopped ginger
  • Chopped onion
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Haldi turmeric powder
  • Garam masala
  • Kasuri methi, dried fenugreek leaves
  • Fresh coriander

Ingredients for the paste:

  • 1 tablespoon Maida flour
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Instruction

  1. Make the dough by mixing the maida, oil, water, salt, and ajwain. Leave the dough to rest for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the aloo masala by mixing boiled potatoes with chopped garlic, ginger, onion, salt, red chilli powder, haldi powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and fresh coriander.
  3. Make a paste by combining 1 tablespoon of maida with 1 tablespoon of water.
  4. Roll the dough into one large chapatti and cut it into small squares.
  5. Place a portion of the aloo masala in each square and apply the paste as shown in the video.
  6. Fold each square to form the samosas.
  7. Fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy.
