Ingredients
- 4 Bread slices
- 1 cup of milk
- 5 tbsp of Milk powder
- 1 tbsp of Elachi powder
- 2 tbsp of Sugar for chasni
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tbsp of Cardamom powder/ elachi powder
- 1 cup of Sugar
Instructions
- Add 1 cup of milk to the frying pan.
- Mix it well. Keep on stirring continuously, so that the milk doesn’t stick to the bottom of the vessel and get to boil.
- Then reduce the flame to medium.
- Add 5 tbsp of Milk powder, 1 tbsp of Elachi powder, 2 tbsp of Sugar for chasni, 1 cup of water, 1 tbsp of cardamom powder/Elachi powder, 1 cup of Sugar. Mix well, while stirring continuously and scraping the sides of the pan until the milk reduces to one-third.
- Once again, simmer for 2 minutes and make a thick rabri. Switch off the gas and let the rabri cool down. Remove the rabri to another bowl.
- Cut the sides of the bread. Shallow fry the bread slices in hot ghee till they turn golden brown on both sides.
- After frying them, keep the bread pieces on an Ekvee Foodwrap so that all the extra oil gets absorbed.
- Next, just dip both sides of the bread in sugar syrup and coat it well.
- Afterward, place this bread slice on a plate and add rabri over it. To make a Sandwich, you can place another bread slice over the rabri and set a layer of rabri on it. Garnish with chopped Pistachios.
